As this year winds down, I’ve been thinking about how many of us became “the strong one” long before we ever felt ready.

We learned to carry more than we could name, from family, expectations, whole histories. Yes, we are standing tall on the outside,
just like a #mountain that holds both beauty and erosion at the same time.

Migration, responsibility, and survival shaped us,
but even mountains rest, crack, and shed what no longer belongs.

So if this season feels heavy,
it’s not failure.
It’s the truth of what you’ve carried on your climb.

There’s a kind of tiredness we don’t talk about.
Not the kind cured by a nap,

This time of year always makes me pause and ask myself,
“How did I get here… and why am I still trying to do it all alone?”
